Ellie graduated from Harvard Law School in 2024 and from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2016. Prior to law school, Ellie was an investigator at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. Following graduation, she was an E. Barrett Prettyman Fellow at Georgetown University Law Center. There, she represented clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges and supervised third-year law school students in the Criminal Defense and Prisoner Advocacy Clinic. Ellie will clerk on the Eastern District of New York in 2027.

At Kaplan & Grady, Ellie is focusing on prison & jail matters and complex commercial litigation.
