Associate

Luke R. Sándor

Luke graduated from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2021. During law school, Luke advocated for survivors of police violence while interning at the MacArthur Justice Center, challenged Alabama prison conditions with the Southern Center for Human Rights, and supported grassroots, youth-led community organizations through litigation and policy advocacy at Northwestern’s Community Justice and Civil Rights Clinic.

After law school, Luke completed a fellowship with the National Center for Youth Law’s Justice and Equity Team. At NCYL, Luke developed campaigns to abolish juvenile court fines and fees in several states, and represented children ensnared in the school to prison pipeline.

Before joining Kaplan & Grady, Luke also clerked for Magistrate Judge Robin M. Meriweather in the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia and was a commercial litigation associate at Williams & Connolly in Washington, D.C.
