David brings to the firm impressive experience across various practice areas at both the trial and appellate levels.
David graduated with honors from the University of Chicago with a degree in Political Science and received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles with a public-interest specialization through the law school’s David J. Epstein Public Interest Law and Policy Program. In law school, David served on both the UCLA Law Review and the Criminal Justice Law Review.
After law school, David was awarded the University of California President’s Public Service Law Fellowship and joined the MacArthur Justice Center’s Supreme Court & Appellate Program in Washington, DC. There, he represented prisoners and victims of police misconduct in federal civil rights appeals across the country. Following his fellowship, he clerked for the Honorable Brenda K. Sannes on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. After completing his district court clerkship, David worked as an associate with the employment law firm, Wigdor LLP. While there, David represented individuals and companies in discrimination, retaliation, and breach of contract matters in both federal and state courts. After Wigdor, David clerked again, this time for the Honorable Nancy L. Moritz on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
David is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, the District of Columbia (inactive); the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and Tenth Circuits; and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Northern District of Illinois, and the District of New Jersey.
