Annie graduated from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, magna cum laude, in 2020, and from Stanford University in 2013. During law school, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Northwestern University Law Review. At Northwestern, Annie worked on behalf of incarcerated individuals in the MacArthur Justice Center’s jails and prisons small group and received the national Clinical Legal Education Association Award for Outstanding Clinical Team.

Following graduation, Annie served as a law clerk for the Honorable John J. Tharp, Jr. on the Northern District of Illinois and for the Honorable Robert L. Wilkins on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

After completing her appellate clerkship, Annie worked as an associate at a Chicago-based civil rights firm for over two years. In that role, she represented clients in wrongful conviction, employment discrimination, contract discrimination, and prisoners’ rights cases.
